KOTA BHARU, 29 November - Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd (BIMB) and Agrobank have temporarily closed several branches in Kelantan following the recent floods.
In a notice posted on its official Facebook page yesterday, Agrobank announced that affected branches include Pasir Puteh, Pasir Mas, Kuala Krai, Machang, Tumpat, Kubang Kerian, and the Rantau Panjang kiosk.
“For information on affected branches and nearby support branches, please stay updated via Agrobank's official social media platforms.
“For more details on financial services, contact Agrobank’s Call Centre at 1-300-88-2476 or visit www.agrobank.com.my,” the notice read.
Meanwhile, BIMB also issued a notice regarding the temporary closure of operations at six branches until further notice. The affected branches include Pasir Puteh, Machang, Kuala Krai, Pasir Tumboh, Pasir Mas, and Wakaf Bharu.
However, BIMB customers can visit nearby support branches for banking services in Kubang Kerian, Kota Bharu, Tanah Merah, Bandar Baru Tunjong, Padang Garong, and Gua Musang.
“As an alternative, customers are encouraged to use Bank Islam's Internet Banking platform at www.bankislam.biz/web.bimb.com, the mobile applications GO by Bank Islam/BIMB Mobile, or visit nearby self-service banking terminals for their transactions.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused. For further inquiries, please contact our call center at 03-26900900,” the notice stated.
