Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) Director, Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri

KUALA LUMPUR, March 28- Road users are advised to assist the authorities by reporting any incidents that occur during their journey home from Raya holidays.

This is to facilitate as well as expedite action which will help by preventing any unexpected congestion.

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) Director, Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, said reports can be lodged by making phone calls or sharing video recordings to the authorities.

"Informants can channel reports via video recording or phone call to the operations room at any District Police Headquarters (IPD) or nearby stations. This is to enable JSPT to take immediate action to disperse congestion or manage accidents," he said.

Nearly 7,000 JSPT officers and personnel have been deployed for Op Selamat 24 in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration this year.

He said this after being a guest on the Selamat Pagi Malaysia programme at Angkasapuri Media City.
