KUALA TERENGGANU, Februari 14 - All Ramadan bazaars in Terengganu are encouraged to adopt cashless payment methods to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
The Chairman of the Terengganu Local Government, Housing, and Health Committee, Datuk Wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah, stated that there are 57 Ramadan bazaar locations under local authorities provided throughout the state this year.
This involves nearly 4,500 traders compared to the previous year, which had 4,000 traders.
"All Ramadan bazaar stalls in designated areas will be monitored and inspected at least once throughout the fasting month," said Wan Sukairi.
Earlier, he officiated the D Muara food court near Kuala Nerus.
He mentioned that strict action will be taken against traders who rent their trading lots to foreign nationals.
