KANGAR, 21 April - Every prospective pilgrim should always be grateful for the opportunity given to be Allah's guest to perform the hajj pilgrimage with the best of their ability, sincerity and humility.

The opportunity to perform the hajj pilgrimage is a very valuable gift and only comes once in a lifetime for most people. Therefore, pilgrims are urged to always maintain good manners and stay away from all things that can affect the completion of the holy pilgrimage.

The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail said that prospective pilgrims are hoped to be able to practice as best as possible all the knowledge they have learned while attending the hajj courses organized by Tabung Haji.

"If a prospective Hajj pilgrim needs guidance and information regarding Hajj, please always refer to an appointed and certified Hajj Guide," said Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra when officiating the Opening Ceremony of the Perlis State Level First Hajj Course (KPH) for the 1446 Hijri Season and the Year 2025 at the Ibn Khaldun Hall, Mara Skills Institute, Beseri.

The Perlis State Level First Hajj Course is part of the Tabung Haji initiative to ensure that pilgrims, involving a total of 314 prospective Hajj pilgrims from Perlis, receive sufficient knowledge and guidance before departing for the Holy Land.

122 are male pilgrims and 192 are female pilgrims while 259 pilgrims use the services of the Muassasah (Masyariq) and 55 are private pilgrims.

Tabung Haji is always committed to safeguarding the welfare and safety of all Malaysian pilgrims.
The services and facilities provided by Tabung Haji are proven to be of a world-class standard and even serve as an example for other Muslim countries.
