MUAR, Dec 19– Police are tracking two suspects involved in an armed robbery case in Taman Sri Teh in Muar, Johor, last Tuesday.
Muar District Deputy Police Chief, Superintendent Muhammad Aidil Roneh Abdullah said a report about the incident was received at around 6.20pm on the day of robbery.
"On Wednesday morning, around 11.30am, the police found a car believed to have been used by the suspect during the incident. The vehicle was found abandoned in Jasin, Melaka," he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code which metes out severe punishment for the crime of armed robbery.
The public who have information related to the case are asked to contact Inspector P.S Seventhi at 011-1625 1909 to assist with the investigation.
