TAMPIN, Feb 24- The Negeri Sembilan government remains on standby at all times in case of a recurrence of floods.
Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, said cooperation from all departments at the district level is needed, especially when hit by disasters such as floods.
"We are aware the flooding issue does not follow the monsoon because the weather is changing and global warming is occurring," he said.
"We hope this will serve as a reminder for us to be prepared at any time and so that we can reduce the cost of damage that occurs," he added.
He said this to reporters after attending the Tampin District Administrative Assembly 2025.
A total of RM1.002 million in compassionate cash aid (BWI) from the State and Federal Governments was distributed to 504 Heads of Households (KIR) affected by the floods in Tampin District on 19 December.
