KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 - Famous lyricist, Yusnor Ef, 87 years old, passed away at Sengkang Hospital, Singapore at 2 am today.

The news of Yusnor's passing, or real name, Mohamed Noor Mohamed Yusofe, was confirmed by his son-in-law Rahmad Basir through a post on Facebook.

"The body of the deceased will be taken back to the family residence at 99 Saraca Terrace.

"May the deceased be placed among the believers and the pious. Al-Fatihah," he said.
