KUALA LUMPUR, March 20– The Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP), in collaboration with the National Entrepreneurship Institute (INSKEN), will enhance cross-ministerial and industry partnerships to ensure entrepreneurs receive high-quality guidance.

Deputy Minister of KUSKOP, Datuk Seri Ramanan Ramakrishnan, explained that this initiative aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly within the informal and micro sectors.

“As part of the KUSKOP Strategic Plan for 2025, INSKEN intends to provide entrepreneurial training and mentorship to 17,522 entrepreneurs through 13 programs throughout 2025,” he said in response to a question from Senator Datuk Seri Prof. Emeritus Dr. Awang Sariyan in the Dewan Negara today.

He also highlighted that INSKEN has launched several specialized programs, such as Jom Jumpa PROTÉGÉ, which offers training to students at higher education institutions (IPT), and the MICEP program, aimed at benefiting 1,200 entrepreneurs from the Indian community.

Additionally, high-impact coaching programs like IBBC will address key aspects of business development, including financial management, workforce, marketing, and product innovation.
