KUANTAN, April 16- Three men suffered injuries and burns when the house they were living in caught fire at Lorong Alor Akar 55 here last night.

Assistant Director of Operations of the Pahang Fire and Rescue Department Mohd Salahuddin Isa said the fire also ravaged two cars and 10 motorcycles.

"The fire department received a report regarding the incident at 9.24pm.

"Following that, a team of 28 personnel from the Kuantan, Indera Mahkota and Taman Tas Fire and Rescue Stations with 7 machineries deployed to the location," said Mohd Salahuddin.

Upon arriving at the scene, the department found that the fire involved a semi-permanent house measuring 20 by 70 square feet.

The house, which was used as a gathering place and for repairing motorcycles, was 100 per cent destroyed.

The incident also caused three occupants to be injured, each with burns on their legs, arms and bodies; and were taken to hospital for further treatment.
