KUANTAN, April 19 - The East Coast is the first zone for the organization of the Heritage Arts Program 2025 held through the RTM Radio Program Division.
According to the Director of the division, Saifuzzaman Yusop, the gathering of diverse cultural arts under one roof elevates and further introduces the heritage arts of each state.
It is also a platform to elevate local artistic talents in the eastern zone.
"In order to strengthen and promote the heritage arts itself, for example, this is the first time that Terengganu, Pahang, Kelantan have been combined in one zone so that the arts are glorious, the arts itself communicate between the states", he said.
He added that the implementation of this heritage arts program is also to provide exposure for the younger generation to know and appreciate their own culture.
Saifuzzaman said this in the 2025 East Zone Heritage Arts Program at the Darul Makmur Auditorium (ADAM), Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Broadcasting Complex (KOMPSAS), RTM Pahang in Kuantan.
Also present were Pahang State Broadcasting Director Arifin Awang, Terengganu State Broadcasting Director Sabri Mansor and Kelantan State Broadcasting Director Shaheezam Said.
In the program, each state presented their respective cultural heritage arts, including wayang kulit, gamelan and folk songs.
The program was also enlivened by a special appearance by Bintang Klasik 2023 champion Hisyam Rahim and sensational artist from Kelantan, Iela Nabila.
The RTM 2025 Heritage Arts program was also broadcast live on the RTMKlik platform and three RTM radio stations in the East Coast zone.
This program will continue its tour to the north, south, as well as Sabah and Sarawak.
