JOHOR BAHRU, Nov 22- Five People's Housing Project (PPR) here, have been equipped with barred fence systems to ensure that only authorised vehicles can enter the housing area.

State Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor said the PPR involved are PPR Melana One, PPR Melana Dua, PPR Uda Utama, PPR Desa Mutiara, and PPR Cahaya Senibong.

"Among the other infrastructure installed at the PPR is an access card system, guard booth, and closed circuit television cameras (CCTV).

"Four more PPRs, namely PPR Perling, PPR Sungai Tiram, PPR Pelangi Indah and PPR Setia Indah, are in the process of installation and are expected to be completed by the end of this year," said Mohd Jafni.

The security implementation will continue in phases, next year, involving PPR and Rumah Sewa Kerajaan (RSK) of Johor.
