KUANTAN, March 22 – The public is reminded to fill out the balik kampung form as a crime prevention measure during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday.

Kuantan District Police Chief ACP Wan Zahari Wan Busu explained that by submitting the notification form, the police can identify vacant homes and enhance crime prevention efforts.

"Last year, no criminal cases were reported for those who submitted the balik kampung notification form in this district," he said.

To date, 200 balik kampung notification forms have been distributed, and Wan Zahari encouraged people returning to their hometowns for Raya to fill out the forms.

He also announced that patrols around vacant homes would be increased based on the notifications received during this period.
