KUANTAN, December 28- The route at Kilometer 74, Jalan Kuantan-Kuala Lumpur, in front of a school in Maran was blocked due to an accident involving a container lorry belonging to a courier and logistics company, at about 6.45 am.

Maran District Police Chief Superintendent Wong Kim Wai in a statement advised road users to use alternative routes for the time being.

"This accident only involves damages and not any injuries. The road from Maran towards Kuantan had to be temporarily closed," he said.

He said the process of removing the overturned container lorry is currently underway.

Accordingly, road users are advised to exercise extra caution, and the route will be reopened as soon as the removing work is completed.
