SHAH ALAM, January 2- A total of 73,899 candidates sat for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) written examination involving 494 examination centers in Selangor.
Selangor State Education Department Director Dr Jafri Abu said, a total of 7,651 examination officers were involved.
He also said there were 25 candidates who took the exam in A hospital and two candidates in prison, in the state.
Dr Jafri also informed that no examination center in Selangor was also involved in the flood disaster.
However, he said his team is always ready to face any disaster if it happens according to the standard operating procedures set.
Jafri said this in a press conference after reviewing the SPM written exam at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 9, Shah Alam.
