108 JAKIM residents receive Ramadan and Aidilfitri infaq assistance

PUTRAJAYA, March 26- A total of 108 eligible employees from the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM) have received the Infaq Ramadan and Aidilfitri Assistance from the Bukit Perdana Club of the Prime Minister's Department, amounting to RM18,000.

Datuk Dr. Sirajuddin Suhaimee, the Director-General of JAKIM, announced the assistance at the March 2025 JAKIM Assembly, stating that the distribution would be managed by the JAKIM Sejiwa Club.

"The Infaq Ramadan and Aidilfitri assistance from the Bukit Perdana Club of the Prime Minister's Department, amounting to RM18,000 for 108 eligible employees, is being coordinated by the JAKIM Sejiwa Club," Datuk Dr. Sirajuddin shared with reporters today.

He also expressed his appreciation to the Malaysian Islamic Training Institute (ILIM), which has been recognized as one of the six public training institutes to have achieved the highest level of performance by implementing up to 14 functions and is currently undergoing a transformation process.

During this Ramadan, JAKIM has carried out several large-scale programs, including the National Ihya Ramadan, the Breaking of Fast with the Prime Minister, and the "Fascinating Ramadan" initiative with Muslim Brothers.

Nearly 500 JAKIM staff members attended the monthly gathering held in Putrajaya.
