KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27- SME Corp Malaysia has successfully nurtured 763 high-achieving Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), now recognised as distinguished recipients of the Enterprise 50 (E50) Award.
among the recipients, 67 have listed on the capital market and expanded their reach across domestic and international markets.
Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick (KUSKOP) said to sustain this momentum, the ministry has implemented a series of knowledge-sharing sessions in collaboration with strategic partners, aimed at advancing the capabilities of E50 Award winners.
“These sessions include e-Invoicing with Deloitte Malaysia, a Credit Assessment Programme, networking with alternative financing providers through RAM Rating Services Berhad and a Transformational Leadership talk led by governance and entrepreneurial expert, Datuk Seri Dr Idris Jala.
“I believe such sessions serve as valuable resources for E50 alumni, fostering continuous capacity building,” he said during the E50 Awards ceremony here last night.
Also in attendance were Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, SME Corp Chairman Tan Sri Panglima Bernard Giluk Dompok, SME Corp Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rizal Nainy and Deloitte Malaysia CEO Yee Wing Peng.
With the theme ‘Celebrating Malaysia’s Entrepreneurial Spirit’, this year’s E50 Awards are jointly hosted by SME Corp Malaysia and Deloitte Malaysia, supported by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP).
