KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28- Four new routes will be introduced by the Rapid KL On-Demand service starting February 1st.

Rapid Bus' acting Chief Executive Officer, Ku Jamil Zakaria said the new service will be able to shorten the average waiting time for passengers by ten minutes.

The four routes are T650B which covers Taman Desa-Jalan Klang Lama, T850B (Bangsar LRT-Taman City), T512B (Putrajaya Sentral MRT-Precinct 11) and T250B (Taman Genting Setapak-Setapak).

The Bangsar-Taman Bandaraya LRT line and Putrajaya Sentral-Precinct 11 MRT will be directly connected to the Rapid KL rail services.

The connectivity is important to enable Rapid KL users to continue their journey with the rail and bus network.

On the other hand, services for Taman Desa-Jalan Klang Lama and Taman Genting Setapak-Setapak routes use bus lanes on Jalan Klang Lama and Jalan Genting Kelang.

This will allow passengers to continue their journey with the Rapid KL buses and vice versa.
