PUTRAJAYA, March 11- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to receive a courtesy call from the United States Ambassador to Malaysia Edgard D. Kagan this evening.

Senior Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said the meeting is expected to discuss bilateral relations as well as cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

"In this meeting, they are expected to discuss issues pertaining to their relationship and the established cooperation between the two countries covering various fields.

"In addition, they are also expected to touch on the issue of the ASEAN Chairmanship 2025, especially involving the ASEAN-United States Special Summit," he said.

He said this in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Daily Briefing which was broadcast live simultaneously on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's Facebook and PMO Malaysia's Facebook today.
