LABUAN, Dec 24- The Labuan Ro-Ro Ferry Terminal (Roll-On Roll-Off) and Labuan International Ferry Terminal are still busy ahead of tomorrow's Christmas celebrations.
RTM's survey found that passengers and vehicles are still queuing to leave for Sabah and Sarawak, even at the last minute.
Manager of Jutabunos Development Sdn Bhd, Lo Pei Ling said that since last week, more than 10,000 passengers and 5,000 vehicles have been traveling in and out of Labuan to Menumbok, Sabah and vice versa.
He said it is expected to be busy until early next year.
"It is indeed a busy season, since it is the school holidays until December 29, some are also taking leave after the school holidays. Today is still full, tomorrow will also be full, even the 26th is already full, since there are families from Sabah visiting Labuan", he told RTM.
He added that 13 round-trip ro-ro ferry trips including additional ferries are provided to accommodate the demand. Similar congestion can also be seen at the ferry and speedboat terminals.
Travellers are also advised to arrive early to ensure that entry and exit procedures run smoothly.
