GEORGE TOWN, Nov 19- A Form Two female student died after she was believed to have fallen down from the eighth floor of a secondary school building here, last evening.

North East District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abdul Rozak Muhammad said they received a report on the incident at 5.57pm from a medical officer at Penang Hospital (HPP).

"The police investigation at the scene and the examination of the body found that there was no element of crime in this case," he said in a statement.

The case is classified as sudden death and the police will conduct further investigations.

Abdul Rozak advised the public not to speculate about the case as this would affect the investigation and also not to transmit pictures or videos related to the scene as a sign of respect to the family of the deceased.
