PUTRAJAYA, Dec 4- The government is focusing on the recovery efforts in flood-affected areas.

Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof explained that the government has a process in place to assess the affected areas so that appropriate allocations can be made.

“First and foremost, our focus is on recovery, including addressing damage to infrastructure, amenities, and buildings, as well as the needs of the affected communities,” He told the media after the launch of the Putrajaya Urban Observatory (PUO) today.

Fadillah's comments came in response to the opposition's call for an immediate RM1 million allocation to opposition Members of Parliament (MPs) whose constituencies were impacted by the floods, to assist their affected constituents.
