RAUB, 3 December - All 20 temporary flood relief centres (PPS) in Raub district have been closed at 1pm today.
Meanwhile, the PPS at Sekolah Kebangsaan Teh in Jerantut was closed at noon.
According to the Pahang Disaster Management Committee Secretariat, a total of 1,847 affected residents in Raub and 13 in Jerantut have been allowed to return to their respective homes.
However, the PPS at the Kampung Lentang hall in Lipis, remains open to accommodate 13 people from four families.
Although the floods have receded, the situation will continue to be monitored as the Northeast Monsoon Phase (MTL) is expected to continue until March 2025.
The Centralised Disaster Operations Control Centre (PKOB) will also remain open at the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) office for monitoring purposes.
