SERDANG, April 12- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof today attended the Closing Ceremony of the second phase of the Bina Insan MADANI 2025 Spirituality programme organised by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), here.
The ceremony, which began as early as 4am at the UPM Mosque, also involved the cooperation of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) which he himself led.
Fadillah's presence reflects the government's commitment to empowering spiritual values and character development among youth and students, in line with the national MADANI agenda.
The program also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a holistic and comprehensive spiritual education approach.
Earlier, the first phase of the program was implemented last March at UPM Bintulu Campus with the participation of more than 600 participants consisting of Maahad Tahfiz students and the local community.
The involvement of the country's highest leadership in the program is proof that the spiritual development of young people continues to be given serious attention in shaping a more balanced and moral future for the country.
