SEREMBAN, April 30 – A total of RM27,043,020.12 has been spent on development projects approved for the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, covering the period from January to March.
The Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, stated that this amount is part of the total development allocation approved for the year, which amounts to RM135 million.
"The spending performance of the three highest votes recorded for the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year based on development votes are as follows: Vote P50 for the Chief Minister's Office with total spending of RM17,684,165, which is 39.3%.
"This is followed by Vote P54 for the Department of Irrigation and Drainage amounting to RM1.207 million with a spending rate of 11.34%, and then Vote P59 for Government Buildings totaling RM664,312.40 or 5.11%," he said.
He also reported that a total of 361 projects have been recorded as of the first quarter of this year based on development votes.
Of this number, 31 projects are in the incomplete category, 177 are in the pre-execution phase, 143 are in execution, and 10 projects have been fully completed.
Datuk Seri Aminuddin made these statements while responding to a question from the Rantau State Assembly Member (ADUN), Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, represented by ADUN Chembong, Datuk Zaifulbahri Idris, during the Negeri Sembilan State Assembly (DUN) session held here.
