KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 29- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) issued a warning of continuous heavy rain expected to hit Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang until tomorrow.

METMalaysia informed that similar weather conditions are also forecast for Kuantan, Pahang as well as Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai in Kelantan.

"Continuous rain warning at alert level is also expected in Kelantan covering Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok and Gua Musang until tomorrow.

"Jerantut, Maran, Pekan and Rompin in Pahang as well as Mersing in Johor are also forecast to experience similar weather conditions," according to a statement by MetMalaysia.

The same warning was also issued for Sabah involving the interior (Tambunan), west coast, Tawau (Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan) and Kudat.
