ISKANDAR PUTERI, JOHOR, Nov 11- Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) lived up to expectations, defeating Perak FC, 5-0 in Super League 2024 action at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, here, last night (Nov 10).

The match saw Southern Tiger sensational striker, Bergson Da Silva, create a Hat-Rick.

JDT's first goal was contributed by striker Romel Oswaldo, in the 20th minute, after Perak FC's goalkeeper, Mohamad Ramdhan, failed to catch the ball neatly from Arif Aiman.

The second goal was contributed by Bergson Da Silva in the 22nd minute, through an explosion from outside the penalty area.

The two players each scored another goal in the 34th and 48th minute, making it 4-0 in the first half.

The second half saw a tense situation between Ariff Aiman and Tommy Mawat, which resulted in both of them being shown yellow cards.

Bergson completed his hat-trick of the match with a goal in the 89th minute, which was scored without seeing the goal.

The result remained 5-0 until the referee, Razlan Joffri Ali blew the final whistle.

The head coach of Perak FC, Yusri Che Lah, believes that his players gave JDT too much space to attack in the first half of the match.

However, he was satisfied with the efforts of his men, giving resistance to JDT in the second half.

"Maybe, the four goals in the first half, increased the players' efforts not to lose too much tonight, and I think, the players also when the first half is over, a bit stressed. Maybe, afraid that a bigger goal will happen but alhamdulillah, the players gave resistance in the second half, although not as good, but better than the first half," Yusri Che Lah, Perak FC head coach added.

"The player were in a very good performance, tonight. The players were playing intense and dynamic. Our first half was very good. The second half, the team moved the ball from side to side but the opponent played compact, and long," Hector Bidoglio, JDT head coach said.

For the Asian Champions League (ACL) Elite match, Hector plans to hold a friendly match on November 16, before facing Shandong Taishan, on November 26, in China.
