ALOR SETAR, March 9- Approximately 65,000 accounts of Syarikat Air Darul Aman (SADA) users in the Kota Setar and Kubang Pasu districts are experiencing water supply disruptions after the operations of the Bukit Pinang Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Phase 1, 2, and 3 had to be halted.

In a statement on their Facebook page, SADA reported that the shutdown was due to a short circuit and damage to the internal electrical system of the raw water pumps.

"The water supply disruption began around 4:30 PM today and is expected to last until repair work and resupply are completed.

"Users who wish to know the affected areas can refer to the full list on SADA's official Facebook page," the post stated.
