PUTRAJAYA, March 24 – The MADANI government has agreed to fund the Special Aidilfitri Financial Assistance (BKKA) for Terengganu State Government civil servants, with each recipient receiving RM500.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the assistance will benefit more than 14,000 civil servants in the state and will be distributed before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

"The government is committed to the principles of equality to ensure that the country's prosperity is felt inclusively, in line with the vision contained within the MADANI Economic Framework.

"The decision is also a follow-up to the visit by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to Terengganu last Friday.

"This contribution is hoped to bring joy to state government employees who have served with dedication," according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance.
